An Inaugural Anchored Class for Girls (Ages 9–15)
We’re excited to launch our very first Anchored class — a hands-on, faith-centered experience created specifically for girls ages 9–15, a season where identity, confidence, and direction matter deeply.
Rooted & Refined is a 4-week blacksmithing and woodworking class inspired by Psalm 1, inviting girls to explore what it means to be rooted in God’s truth and to grow strong in the midst of real life.
Throughout the class, girls will:
🔨 Forge a metal flower hook through intentional, guided blacksmithing…
🪵 Design and build a wooden planter…
📖 Engage Psalm 1 through thoughtful, age-appropriate Bible teaching…
💬 Practice speaking truth and encouragement in a supportive community…
Each week pairs meaningful work with a clear biblical theme:
Where I’m planted matters — the voices and influences I choose…
Staying close to God builds strength — even in hard seasons…
Growth takes time — patience is part of becoming…
A rooted life bears fruit — our lives are meant to bless others…
This class is designed to meet girls where they are — offering real tools, real responsibility, and real encouragement. No prior experience is required. Girls will be guided carefully, challenged appropriately, and supported every step of the way.
Our hope is that each girl leaves with more than a finished project.
We want her to leave knowing:
She is intentionally created by God…
She is capable of learning hard things…
Her growth doesn’t need to be rushed…
God is shaping her life for good purpose…
