Ben & Alie Kuiken — Anchored Academy North

Ben Kuiken is incredibly humbled by the opportunity to bring his 15 years of teaching and coaching experience to Anchored Academy North! From Librarian to ELA/Social Studies Teacher to Autistic Support Teacher to Golf Coach (and nearly everything in between), Ben has developed a gift for helping students discover confidence, purpose, and joy in learning. His creative teaching style and genuine care for each student help make school a place girls actually look forward to coming to each day.

Standing right beside him is his wife, Alie Kuiken — the soul behind the heart of Anchored. For over 13 years, Alie has faithfully poured herself into raising seven wonderful daughters, walking with them through every stage of growing up. Her wisdom, warmth, and quiet leadership reflect years of lived experience in guiding young women toward strength, grace, and godly character. She brings this same nurturing spirit and intentionality to the Anchored community.

Together, Ben and Alie are passionate about helping young women grow in faith, friendship, and resilience — learning to be steady and secure in who they are because of Who they belong to. Their hope is that every girl who steps into Anchored would discover her worth, purpose, and strength rooted in Jesus — the true Anchor of hope.
